FILLER LINK ENTRY AHOY.

July 6, 2007

I am in the middle of a monster post that should be my new favoritest post ever so, in the meantime, some quick thingies.

• New blogs!  I’ve recently added Ryan Day’s Metamorphostuff (comics blogging at its finest) and my friend Matt’s Better Late (one guy catching up on all the things he’s missed out on) to the blogroll.  Also, Matt? I can help you out with that “get in a fist fight” thing.

• Over at his often-comics-centered blog, Kevin Church is linking a lot of John Coltrane videos.  Take a break from your repeated Charlie the Unicorn watching and check out good jazz.

This is officially my favorite Dinosaur Comic ever.

• Come to think of it, I should find more webcomics that I like.  Right now, it’s pretty much Dinosaur Comics and The Rack.

If we are going to fight, I think we can agree on the Queensberry rules. Yes?

    No PBF?

Scarygoround! Pure awesome I tell you! Also… Gunnerkrieg Court is interesting (good art at least), and Templar, AZ, is great if slow going. You’d definitely like the Dresden Codak as well. A lot of people seem to dig Achewood, but I’ve never gotten into it….

    That’s it!

    Matt:

If, by “Queensberry rules,” you mean “me stomping you bloody for not having watched Casablanca yet,” then yes.

    Jason:

You know, Perry Bible Fellowship is something I’ve been meaning to check out–I just haven’t got around to it yet. Really, I was hesitant about the idea of webcomics–even lower barrier of entry than regular comics–but Dinosaur Comics and the Rack have me changing my tune. I know Spurgeon likes it, so that’s probably good enough for me.

    Edie:

I’ve never seen the appeal of Achewood, either. Or PVP. Or Penny Arcade.
